well Cubase SX needs a bit of "work"
you need to apply a couple of cracks, but it's pretty straight forward
:) Macromedia MX requires no cracks
but you WILL need a program called LittleSnitch, which tells you if a program is trying to access the net, and if so you can block it's access to the net.
You need it for Macromedia, because it tries to phone home via the net, and trust me - you don't want Macromedia to trace your IP!

good, well make sure that if you DO have the net on your PowerBook, install LittleSnitch.
Now there IS a problem with the crack for "Cubby Arse" - it renders it incapable of being able to handle you moving a note event in the edit page :( if you wanna change the event, you have to delete it and draw again - if you try to move it, it crashes :( Other than that, there's no problems with Cubby Arse.
I shall get it in the post to you in a day or two - you will NOT believe how much I wanna smash my PowerBook up into itty bitty pieces.....I've had about 20 Kernel Panics today alone, had about 30 last night too.
If I can't manage to copy Cubby Arse for you, I'll have to send Machina Studious MX 2004 and Reason off to you until I get my machine back.

I think that the one for PC is called Peer Vanguard, but please don't quote me on it.
I'm sure that there's a ton of apps like this for Windows, and basically pretty much any decent firewall program for Windows will tell you if a program is trying to access the net, and you can block it thusly

Peerguardian i guess, but that blocks incoming thingies from the net. Firewalls set to "EVIL MAXIMUM HELLA PANIC" or whatever are a good idea for programs trying to access the net.
