Off the back of a conversation I was having with someone
here in the office.. what do xlt-ers think of this track?

it's nice...btw, beach boys are playing here in about a
month...i don't think i'll go though, i can't stand the
people that visit popular bands.

you know how it plays at the end of 'love, actually'?

that made me bawl

wasn't it lennon who said this is the best song ever made?

still, it's quite good :)

the bridge/crescendo of that song makes me a little tearful
anyway (not sure why) - so i really resented its use at the
end of that film. everyone around me presumed it was the
film that had had that effect! :D

Morton: I have been informed that it was McCartney who said
that about the song.

It was McCartney, and he was wrong.

But he wasn't too far off! I like Carl Wilson's voice far
more than Brian's, I'm glad he did this track.

yer i think the way they looped it made me emotionally
fragile after watching the latter half of the movie while
drinking half a bottle of gin :)

My personal favourite is "let's go away for awhile", or
maybe "caroline, no". There's not a song on there i dislike
though.

The Beach Boys rule.
"Pet Sounds" rules.
"God Only Knows" rules.

i think this song is amazing too! but "caroline, no" is my
favourite, or maybe "dont talk (put your head on my
shoulder)"... just thinking about them gives me goosebumps.

i'm going to have to vote for "caroline, no" and "you still
believe in me"...

I love this song.

did you know that you can mix it with Cameo - Word Up
(Instrumental) for some fun DJ antics?
