At the request of CIA Director George Tenet, Defense
Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld ordered the military to
secretly hold a suspected terrorist in Iraq a Pentagon
spokesman said.

The suspected terrorist has been held since October without
being given an identification number and without the
International Committee of the Red Cross being notified,
Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said. Both conditions
violate the Geneva Accords on treatment of prisoners of war.

Rumsfeld ordered the Joint Chiefs of Staff to have the
prisoner secretly detained on the day last October, when
Tenet made the request, Whitman said.

"The director of central intelligence requested he not be
assigned an internment serial number while the CIA worked to
determnine his precise disposition," Whitman said.

The Bush administration has argued that the Geneva
Conventions do not apply to suspected terrorists who do not
follow the conventions themselves. But Rumsfeld and other
administration officials have said the Geneva Conventions
applied to all U.S. military activities in Iraq since the
March 2003 invasion.

he fucked himself there.

no excuse.

They aren't though. He will be re-elected whether he gets
the popular vote or not. Remember, he did that 4 years ago
when he "won" the election.

Kerry really is a piece of shit too.. I think the best
strategy right now is to have W. in for another term so he
completely fucks everything up. Americans have already
decided that they are too comfortable to start a revolution,
invasion from another country is our only hope.

if he is re-elected, by popular vote, or if he pulls some
same shit this time, and the public doesnt revolt... then
Ill just have lost all faith in americans. There are good
people there, but to allow this to happen, is just wrong.

Id leave and change my citizenship. Honestly. I dont want to
be a part of such things.

But I wouldnt be suprised if:
1. they already have Bin Laden, and have been waiting till
right before the elections to "capture" him (ie release it
into the public) to win favor
2. Some major "terrorist" *cough* attack convinently allows
marshall law to be declared, bypassing elections.

Don't leave the country. We need as many people here
fighting the good fight as possible. How long till america
comes sticking its nose in the business of whatever country
you move to?

The next few years are going to be pretty grim, with Bush or
Kerry. At leat if Bush wins, it will almost guarantee that
the proverbial pendulum will swing harder back to the left
once he is out of office.

well kind of, i heard they need to modify the design to make
them more powerful, like a small nuclear bomb. There is a
law in the US that bans developement of any kind of nuclear
weapon. Bush was trying to lift the ban last year but
suddenly its all quiet as the election get closer.

allowing bush to get back in so that it teaches everyone in
america a lesson sounds alright in theory.
but really, even if your economy fucks up, or some of your
civil rights are infringed, your taxes go up, or you lose
your job - thats pretty insignificant in comparison to the
millions of lives that will be affected all over the world
by that stupid thug and his cronies.
if the citizens of america won't do their duty by their own
country and get rid of this president, they owe it to the
rest of the world (who DON'T have a say in who runs the US)
to try.

maybe thats being too optimistic though, eh?

bush's poll numbers aren't looking very good right now. of
course kerry is a fucking meatlump, so it's not looking good
there either. i'm not at all convinced he'd handle the
country any better, he just might be smart enough to cover
his tracks a little more thouroughly. bush is so convinced
that he's righteous that he doesn't even try to smooth
things over.

bring 'em on!!

I mean both these guys spent their college days in a big
circle jerk around a coffin or whatever the fuck skull and
bonesmen do.. it's the lesser of two evils and both men
would just be carrying out the commands of those who are
really in control.

bush is just such a FUCKING MORON that it would be easier to
keep tabs on the corruption.

If we simply vote him out and try to patch up the mess he's
gotten us in to, then we, as a nation, are doomed to repeat
our mistakes.

The entire country needs to see what a monster this guy is.
Unfortunately, many lives will be lost before we come to
this realization, because it ALL needs to come crashing down
around us before we wake up.

You would think that the HUGE amounts of trouble this
administration has gotten in to in the past 1 year alone
would be enough. But apparently it's not. I say we let this
bufoon paint himself into a corner (perhaps through full-on
nuclear combat toe-to-toe with whatever country that hates
our freedom and happens to have more WMD's stockpiled than
we do)

we cannot afford to allow bush to maintain american presence
in the middle east, calling on "old boy" support from
various neighboring nations and escalating tensions in an
already tense environment. i'm afraid four more years of
that would lead to full-scale world war.

vote for someone who is committed to allowing the iraqi
people their autonomy.

vote bush out.

a larger, vastly millitarilly superior nation maintaining
it's empire by exploiting smaller, less advanced nations...
that's hardly a new concept. there's almost never been a
time in the history of earth that this hasn't been
the case.

america isn't a new concept. humanity hasn't learned from
it's mistakes. this won't be the last time this argument is
had.

because of the arrogance and power of America, you also have
a responsibility to the rest of the world.

it's a nice idea to want to teach Americans a lesson by
getting him reelected, but the rest of the world has to
suffer too.

it's a bit like when going to the movies, deliberately
picking a film that you full well know will be shit. it's
fun the first 10 minutes, but then you feel like you're
thoroughly wasting your time.

in the case of Bush you're wasting your country. and the
rest of the world.

*epic music swells up*

GET THAT FUCKFACE OUT OF THERE!!!

imo: bush's biggest downfall is that he is 100% sure that
god is on his side, and he lets that righteousness show
through all of the time. this makes him come off as an
arrogant prick to the rest of the world. he's become a HUGE
impediment to our ability to have diplomatic relationships
with the rest of the world.

as tempting as it is to try and swing the pendulum by
holding on to bush, i just think it's an awefully perverse
game to play.

no, i'm going to vote.. i don't know for who yet, but i'm
going to vote. who's on the libertarian ticket?

bush is a huge obsticle to us being able to function in a
global society. people don't like him.. regardless of the
merit of his actions, he will be judged as wrong on
principle by the majority of the planet. i don't think
that's good for us, so i want him out.

but, i'm not deluding myself into thinking that any gov't we

"GET THAT FUCKFACE OUT OF THERE!!!"

I wish it were that simple. But we learned in 2000 that the
American electoral process is corrupt. He will be reelected
and the only way out of it is;

Impeachment
Coup d'etat
Assasination

I feel terrible to all the people of all the nations that
are being effected by his reign, but really in the long run
it is for the best.

Trust me. If the entire nation goes to see Ferinheight 911
and decides to vote for Kerry, that slippery bastard is
going to have some tricks up his sleeve that no one was
expecting.

it's a perverse and dangerous game to play. and that kind
of power and responsibility...yes, leading the US should be
considered a RESPONSIBILITY to its citizens and to the
entire global community...that's not to be played with.
