I like them/this album a lot. Son of a Gun and Rifle Eyes
are my favourite tracks. Whoo!

I love them. One of my favourite bands, actually, but yeah
it'll take a few listens to really get into it.

Check out sage francis, sole, alias, atmosphere, and... well
pretty much anything on the anticon label for more of
this kind of thing.

also badass)

I've seen clouddead in the hip-hop section in the record
store, but the name makes it sound like they make the same
kind of music as "the blue foundation," so I didn't get
it...

'Ten' is a good album, but 'cLOUDDEAD' is an amazing album.

Personally I can't stand clouddead. Prefer Deep Puddle
Dynamics or Circle. Only way I can stand Doseone. But yeah
there are a lot of quality white rappers out there.

cLOUDDEAD :: Ten (Mush, CD)
Full Review...

"...These aren't pop songs meant for disposable
listening. While they may be written in brief moments of
time (more than one song is credited with having been
finished while riding BART), the songs of Ten are densely
crafted sonic environments rife with possible
interpretations. An amalgamation of sparse hip-hop,
free-form sampledelia and minimal electronics with a
sprinkle of indie rock and a nod towards free jazz...

i like a lot of their stuff. i don't like the rest of
anticon though. most white-boy rap is garbage i think. and
i'm white. go figure.

Have you even got one (1) opinion?

some of their stuff is brilliant, and i think dose one's
style works well...but, somehow it's not always entirely
fulfilling. they're still completey worth checking out,
though.

i think alias' muted is better than any clouddead (or
themselves, for that matter, though the no music comes
close) release.

The clouddead remix of boombip off the "From Left To Right"
record is awesome. I used it in my mix for scheme88.
