I'm bored. I want another TRUE rpg (like Morrowind and such) for either pc or ps2... does anyone know of anything that is equally rpg-ish to morrowind or fallout/arcanum without being boring like those text-adventures? |

yeah, daggerfall is a cunt to get working and you absolutley MUST get every single last patch you can possibly find for the game, It's buggy as hell, oh and be prepared to kiss your life goodbye for a month or two |

well.. I just don't like it.. I like gamplay that is either similar to Kings Quest/Quest for Glory, Fallout/that one ultima game (isometric gameplay, I think they call it...) or Morrowind... |

daggerfall plays exactly like morrowind in my opinion, it just looks a lot uglier, and that hardly has anything to do with "gameplay" |

well.. I found it to be more.. well... boring. The reason why morrowind is more interesting is actually graphics.. it is one of those games that NEED interesting graphics to be cool. Of course, the story of it is also cool, but the graphics are a big part of the support-system for that. Some games can manage without "great 3d-graphics" (like Quest for Glory 1+2), but some games NEED it as a means of telling the story... |

you should try mudding... same idea as everquest, except it's all text... plus it's free... some people may say it's boring cause it's all text, but think of it like this, if you like reading, it's basically the same... whereas playing a video game is like watching tv, mudding is like reading... and everyone knows the book is better then the movie... check and ... |
