heard modem noise in such a long time) and i thought "thats

fade in of noise before it goes

The sounds of a stunning piece of IDM cutting-edge
brilliance slowly being engraved into warm, moist,
receiving, revolving cylinder of vinyl gives me a semi.

tolstoyed, polygonwrong > Einstürzende Neubauten made a
track with the sound of a pencil (Die Explosion Im
Festspielhaus), and another one with the sound of a
cigarette (Silence Is Sexy)... just so you know =)
also "Read The Book That Wrote Itself" by Liars has the
sound of a pencil as an important part of the track.

i like those sounds too, and lots of others... the sounds of
trains coming or leaving a station, especially when it's an
old train and when the sounds are very loud... the sound of
breaking glass too... the sound of walking on snow... birds
chirping in the morning... a metal ruler falling can have a
nice sound when it's far enough to be not deafening...

sounds i can't stand at all include the sounds of noisy
mastication nor of filing nails though.

if you like songs that are made of things you should check
decomposure, his album taking things apart is so good

"intelligent dance music = modem noise."

more like

modem noise = intelligent dance music

actually it should really be

modem noise is a subset of intelligent dance music

but i don't know how to make that symbol

Refund > track 2, it's called "Silence is Sexy" like the
album. =)

(not the best track of the album though, but well, it
includes cigarettes and silence.)

out of context, it's pretty good, though.
