Okely Dokely. Here it is :) Seeing as there's quite a bit
of time left, just tell me if something is wrong with the
track and I shall correct it.

hm, it'd be a great teaser intro to the original with cool
beats afterwards (i love the original btw)

qrter, don't download that track I just posted. I've decided
to use the extra time to improve it.

Well here we have a new problem for me.

I can't find one of my Reason disks. I'm about to attempt to
make a new piece entirely from orchestra samples. I think I
shall put a shit load of famous classical pieces in there
and a load of beats. HOW ORIGINAL!

it seems my track will be very short, 'cause I just don't
have the inspiration to finish it, but I'll upload it as
soon as I can get over to my friends house... he has dsl,
and I only have 56k at home...

ok.. so are mine.. pure shit.. this is the best I could
manage as I'm a little low on inspiration these days.. the
track may sound a bit strange, and I'm not even sure it's
the right type of track, but except for the drums it's all
been played by me.. no programming.. or.. the end is a BIT
programmet, but nevermind that...

The track (English title: "Demanding"). Do with it as you please!

yes I did. but Paul already was going to re-do two tracks
for the comp, but he seems to have forgotten that. if he
doesn't really want to enter anyway, that's fine by me. it's
his choice. if he does want to, he knows where this thread
is. :)

on a slightly different but FUCKING annoying note it would
seem my laptop's HD is dying on me. I can probably just
replace it with a larger and better one, but I don't have
the money at the moment. which means I'll have to bribe my
parents again.

I do have all the submissions on a back-up computer, btw.

well, he said he didnt want to enter and never does. but it
was okay for me to submit for him.. i'd like to see him on
the vibes

it's nice that he tells you one thing and me another, but if
he still wants to enter, he can do it himself.

Do not piss on user big. He submitted a piece on behalf of
paul f savage - if it is up to standard, include it, if it
is not up to standard, do not include it.

I wasn't pissing on him, I was getting pissed at YOU, you
hound!

you said you were going to rework two older works, then all
of a sudden I get the message from big that you don't even
really want to enter, but if big wants to he can submit
something for you, which is a completely different track.

it's not exactly the most charming way to handle things, I
think you'll agree, Paul..!

I do not have the means to record a sibelius-thingy, btw.

Another submission. It's called "The Last Thing You Ever Said To
Me" but yahoo is too retarded to handle long file names, so
it's listed at "Enid & Rebecca - The Last". I hope it meets
your expectations, good sir.

plaid: I'll download it tomorrow on the back-up computer.

paul: that sounds fabulous. I'll try to contact you tomorrow
- as you might have read my laptop has a dicky harddisk, so
I'm using a back-up computer, and I'll probably be working
on it the biggest part of the day and the evening tomorrow!
exciting stuff!

qrter, were you able to download any of it? i'm not sure
what happened with the upload, it takes so long i just let
it go and came back later to find an "upload successful"
window. if you don't mind, i can burn it to a cdrw and
upload it tomorrow morning (central us time). it takes too
long to upload from home and it's getting late here right
now. it took an extraordinary effort to ready this track in
time so i'd hate to miss out. seeing as how it's the deep
night in the netherlands i'll just have to upload tomorrow
morn and let you know when it's up.

oops.

i just started the download myself from home and it seems to
be working fine. the file size is correct and i downloaded
275MB of it (it would take another 45 minutes to download
the whole thing).

is anyone else (with a broadband connection) willing to test
the download and see if it works?

do is try to upload again from work tomorrow morning.
