so here is a brief recap of my SP adventures. if anyone is
interested:

they put on an excellent show. Ogre had a couple different
costumes, one that was all bandages and pointy face mask.
he had theatrical blood he was gurgling. he had a light up
suit thing for the encore.

they played a lot of new stuff, a couple tracks off of The
Process, and some old tracks too including "Smothered Hope"
and "Glass Houses" off of the first album Remission.

they played Tin Omen and VIVISECT SIX. Didn't play anything
off of Too Dark Park or Last Rights unfortunately.

they also played a couple tracks i didn't recognize.

the set was a little over an hour. one encore. It seemed
short to me but it was a great show, better than i expected.
better than most of the shows i've been to in a while.
Ogre is quite a showman indeed.

yeah ogre shouted, "It all started 20 years ago with a
little song called 'smothered hope'"

it made me feel really old it did.

don't tell anyone, but smothered hope is a bit of a rip-off
of a portion control song. :) the sp version is my
favorite though.
