Those were good days, yes. Times are different now, not necessarily better or worse. I guess that's person dependent, though. The most recent Mario Kart certainly can't live up to the old regime, may or may not be symbolic.
I miss Goldeneye. Although online gaming is quite revolutionary, there's nothing like games that incite actual fights in the physical world. You can't do that over DSL.

those days were awesome... i used to sit in my cousin's room all day and listen to smashing pumpkins and guns n roses and play mario cart and street fighter for days... literally.
