indeed.

One of my favorites is brewed at a pub here in Seattle. It
is called Terminator Stout and it is tear-jerkingly good.

My favorite is still Dogfish-heads Chicory Stout. A nice
subtle coffee stout that takes you on a ride of a variety of
flavors. The coffee finish is subtle and not overpowering.
It is accompanied by a mild sweetness which makes for a
lovely finish. The tan head atop the jet black beer is quite
marvolous!

Coming in at a close second is New Glarious Coffee stout. I
should note here that it may seem because of the fact i list
two coffee stouts that i like coffee but i do not. Cant
stand it on its own but for both of this beers it works
wonders. Similar to dogfish in almost everyway. This beer
doesnt seem as heavy/thick and the sweetness doesnt appear
at the end.

I prefer both mildly chilled.

Dogfish

A dark beer made with a touch of roasted chicory, organic
Mexican coffee, St. John's Wort, and licorice root. Brewed
with whole-leaf Cascade and Fuggles hops, the grains include
pale, wheat, roasted and oatmeal.
We buy the coffee used in our Chicory Stout from the
Oby Lee Coffee Roastery in Lewes.

5.2% ABV 22 IBU
available year round, 12 ounce bottles & draft

We are proud to let you know the Chicory Stout won 2 gold
medals at Chicago's Real Ale Festival in 1998!

Descriptors: Creamy, roasty, peppery, dry & chocolatey
Food pairing reccomendations: Grilled chicken, BBQ,
shellfish, sushi,
smoked fish and yes.... chocolate!

New Glarus Coffee stout

Hearty and satisfying Coffee Stout is the ultimate
full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and
imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew
this bier. The deep coffee flavors are created naturally
during the brewing process by dark roasted malts.

Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony
rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by
spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature
this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the
coldest heart.

Seasonal Available in February
Style Stout
Flavor a powerful malt bouquet balanced by spectrum of
extravagant flavor
Alcohol 5.75% by volume
Available in 6 packs and cases
(1/2 and 1/4 barrels by special request).

Ah! As do i! Its awesome how there are so many different
styles and varietys. There will always be something new to
try!

Example:

Unplugged: Eisbock

"Some people paint, some sing, others write ... I brew."
- Daniel Carey

A few times a year, we will cut Dan loose to brew whatever
he chooses, uncensored, uncut, unplugged. Always
handcrafted, the bottle you hold is brewed for the
adenturous soul. This is a very limited edition and we make
no promises to ever brew this style again.

You hold the first of our "Unplugged" series of beers. This
Eisbock was lagered a full year and then frozen to
incomparable smoothness. This is a big and complex beer,
suitable for laying down or consuming immediately. Serve at
55F.

Thanks for supporting the arts.

suitable for laying down or consuming immediately

how about "suitable for comsuming immediately while laying
in a hammock and enjoying the subtley of a midsummers
breeze"
