is anyone fucking with this thing? holy shoe i just made an awsome deformed helicopter and a sexxy white anti-grav speeder bike. i think i will embark on learning this monstrous and remarkable piece of software.

maya is the most complicated thing i've ever seen. the sheer amount of menus & options is extrememly intimidating.
course, i haven't messed with it since version 3.0, things have probably changed significantly.

Maya is nice, but it has a steep learning curve.. but again 3d has a steep learning curve..
I know maya, but I've used Maya 5..

i'm fortunate in that i have a teacher going hard everyday giving us a basic intro. It seems to have the deepest menu structures of any program i've encountered.

i took an animation class in 2000, the teacher was good, but there was just so massively much to cover that i didn't get too in-depth.
i did make a 30 second video of a mouse running around on a tiled floor, then falling into a hole. it was tres fun.
