My answer: Yes.

I often feel more agressive for some stupid reason when I
listen to stuff with nasty bass lines. I know it's stupid.

I was really agressive in my NIN-period - then again, I was
16 and very angry, so that doesn't really count.

But when you listened to the music did it make you feel more
agressive? Like it gave you a confidence you woudn't
otherwise have had?

Can't say I have. Made me jump round like a glutenous
jibbering bag of flesh many a time, but not fight.

Yeah like that...except without drink. Just taking on the
mood of the music...that's what I do actually. I tend to
take on the mood of the music...so when I listen to BoC I
start talking about chess and politics.

yes it did.

it'd especially make me feel like it was me against the Rest
of the World.

which is what Trernt Rerznor still goes through daily.

right.

Snares songie called A Giant Alien Force More Violent & Sick
Than You Can Imagine. (from 13:37 til end)

herbwest and i played a set at a rave once and a big fight
broke out during one of our harder drill noise songs. and
the cops arrested a guy.

i'd like to take credit for it even though it was probably
just coincidence.

Cliff Richard - Wired For Sound

made me have a fight with Cliff Richard. I punched him in
the face so hard. Yeah! I only imagined it though.

yes, I distinctly remember one time when the sound waves
from the music put a gun to my head and said "Look, you go
out and get into a fight with someone or I'm going to blow
your brains out!!"

A bit different, but I'm interested in the idea of using
music to end fights. Much like that Brass Eye episode
where they show pornography on the football stadium screens
to end a pitch invasion, I reckon playing something really
weird like kids TV music would stop people fighting.

I'm a liker, not a brawler. Most of the music I listen to is
too wimpy to conjure up violent behaviour, but I know what
you mean about basslines... sometimes, if they're really
driving and mean, they get you into a groove, like a
Muhammed Ali zone... you feel like you can take anyone on. I
distinctly remember pulling out a man's throat with my bare
hands once when I was I was listening to Kill 'Em All.

"Steak and Black Onions" by Rapeman makes you want to punch
vegetarians, should you need encouraging to do that anyway.
