board.

But really, you expect the average american to be able to
find where they live on a map like this? Hah. Like 33%
think Canada is "that one by Mexico".

blurrred out. Not the Whitehouse though.

it's called devil's tower, and it's in montana. i can't
seem to pick it out in that photo.

i've been there, and it's really really cool... but, it's
nothing like what they showed in the movie. like, there's
not a big pile of rock that you can just climb up to get to
the top. you pretty much have to use climbing gear and go
straight up the side.

but, it's made out of this really wierd volcanic rock that
creates a tone if you strike it. plus, the little park
there has the cleanest bathrooms i've ever seen. they were
so nice, i took two dumps there. and i never use public
restrooms.

Yeah, that's weird you can't see devil's tower, you'd think
you'd be able to pick out a huge fucking thing like
this, at least a shadow, you can see the shadows
from the trees.

you couldn't find it because it is in wyoming you
marooon!

ganymede: sorry, but really, when you're on the road for two
weeks, and happen to stumble across a bathroom with hardwood
floors, and nice clean white stalls it tends to make an
impression.

:)

Those are circular crops. They do it like that so they can
irragate with a single sprinkler system that slowly rotates
around the central point.

In fact, a few years back, some nutters gathered there and
waited for a space ship to land there because someone,
supposedly, had been told they were coming.

When you can see individual trees like that, it makes the
sci-fi see-what-newspaper-a-person-reads conceit a little
bit more real, and a little bit more disturbing. Woah.
