i have a converter with 2 flat connector pins, but it says 'america' and i know canada is technically north america but i just wanted to make sure.
also it says 10/16A 250v~ . dunno what that is. canada uses 110v 50hz, right?
i'm stupid when it comes to shit like this..

is that a space for a 3rd connector? and if so, is it essential that it is used? cause i have one of these converters for the UK here which has a 3rd connector but its plastic so i figured it's just there to look extra cool.
