i think aphex twin is very aphextwinnily aphextwinesque, as
well as aphextwinoidly aphextwinning, don't you think?
(personally, i don't.)

something to discuss; my point of view; aphex has done some
great stuff, but that's a long time ago imo

aphex said he'd never want sex with a man, so, uhm, yes

my favourite releases by him were selected ambient works
volume II, ...i care because you do and 26 mixes for cash.
but my aphex twin period is over now.

apart from that i still think that aphex twin is so
polymorphous he's almost amorphous if you see what i mean
o_O

and this topic still is one of my very favourites on the
board.

this is such a boring discussion; we all know what we think
of aphex twin now do we?

is aphex twin moving more towards the noise genre?

real music is where it's at.

i think aphex needs to release something new, even though
he's exhausted his sound palette. all in all, druqks tracks
sound the same. um, maybe drill n' bass doesn't have much
movement soundwise. i wouldn't mind a HAB I + HAB II
rerelease, both albums as a double cd set because i'd love
to have a copy i can actually own and listen to in the car
and at home.

there's a thin line on the paper i just drew on. i'd say
that line is composed mainly of ink.

Every now and then, mostly due to the lack of recent
releases, I forget just how much I like Aphex Twin's music.
He has produced a lot of music, a vast majority of which I
find absolutely incredible, a few favorites being:

Alberto Balsalm
Lichen
4
Mookid
IZ-US
Fingerbib

He is absolutely amazing. He is and always will be my
favourite electronic musician...he has a special quality
that very few can come close to. As yet I don't think I
have found anyone who can surpass him in my brains
organisation of favourites peoples.

Agreed ecnadniarb, Even his worst stuff is better than
anything I'm hearing from others. I think 'idm' fans are a
bunch of whiny cunts. Always looking to bitch about
something.

I can see why aphex releases music in small doses. Why give
it out to wankers?
