I know there are some lucid dreamers in this community. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any hardware/software thingys you can use to help you lucid dream. Like for instance, something you could run on a laptop to remind you that you are sleeping, etc...
Thanks

Yes i am a dreamer. I've been lucid dreaming since i was around 5.
There are a couple of great threads out here but i cant really be arsed searching for them. The software i've seen was set at intervals to have audio speak a certain message.

I think maybe I'll try making an iTunes playlist consisting of hours of silence followed by my voice telling me that I am dreaming. Worth a shot.

I used to lucid dream; about 4 years ago I stopped getting dreams altogether, though. It's rare now that I actually remember even part of a dream; probably once every few months.
Wish I could start dreaming again; no idea why they stopped. :-(

the main cause of forgetting is when you wake up, and then fall asleep again straight away - i find.

I find I actually remember my dreams better because I have woken up briefly. It's probably different for everyone though.

its kinda random for me. Although i've had the occasional dream that slowly turns into a lucid dream, then slowly turns into me slowly waking up and me trying my best to stay lucid but end up just becomming awake. It really sucks, its kinda like being stabbed and pushing the knife away but getting stabbed anyways.
