It was connected to electric outlet. Power dropped and some nasty vertical green line appeared. It is not a virus. Something is wrong with hardware. Is there anything I can do? (before I go and buy a new monitor). |

I can do all tasks, just that there is that line 1 pixel in width across the screen. It appears as soon as I turn the monitor on. |

How long have you owned it for? Are you under warranty? And even if worse comes to worse, at least you'll have something cool to dissect or destroy. I love smashing up old electronic equipment that I don't need. |

I love this laptop... it is my 300MHZ child. :) I will see tomorrow if I can find some spare parts. I just wanted to ask you if you know what happened and if it can be repaired somehow. (luckly, I got other people to ask too) |
