i've only heaerd bits n bobs compared to Rephlex n Warp
shit but the "Children of Mu" compilation is turning me on
no-end.

The Julian Fane track is excellent... a fucking gorgeous
emeotional rune..

I'm also loving Jega, shitmat, ditachi, gasman, 000 etc
etc.

(I like snares funkier stuff too)

Anyone else heard this yet?

yeah, it's a nice compilation. planet mu is my favourite out
of the "big three"; rephlex, mu and warp.
plenty of great releases on mu!!

its got a harsher all round vibe than rephlex/warp don't
it?

chris clark is more planet-muish as far as i can tell.

i wouldn't call it harsher...some releases definitely, but
appart from that tjere's plenty of melodic stuff with
excellent beat programing...lots of similar stuff but most
of it is excellent!

i don't agree on chris clark...he's shit :)

Planet Mu is having a heck of a year. The new dDamage, OOO,
Kid Spatula, and edIT are all good. The Gasman track on
Children of Mu and the WarpMart sampler is amazing.

planet mu releases too much of the drill and amen mashups
business...which bores me..however sometimes they release
gems, like ambulance, gasman, jega...
