I found a website of the laws of Islam. http://www.al-islam.org/laws/ Funny, an all powerful God cares how we should deal with a fly going down our throat, how we should step into a toilet, how exactly we should breast feed etc..... And don't bother reacting agressively to this, people here seem to jump at any oppurtunity to attack Christianity and everyone's fine with that, because it's such a "dangerous" religion. So don't bother turning this into another anti Christian thread, because I'm bored of reading those (and no i'm not religious, I just don't enjoy beliefs attack nonstop.) I just found these laws helarious. |

Well, the Old Testament can be, and so can fundi Christians....but they get enough internet airplay as it is. I don't have much of a problem with what Jesus says apart from hellfire etc.... But I swear, nothing beats some of these rules! Read the stuff about how you're supposed to pray....it goes into great depth about how this all-powerful God expects you to act, dress, how your body is supposed to be etc...while you pray to him. |

How on earth, logistically, apart from in the fevered minds of unemployed experts, willl 70% of the UK be Islamic in 70 years? That would mean, a LOT more Islamic people coming over, or maybe the descendents of the Beckhams making it fashionable. |

I'm sorry. I see no tolerance and love coming from Islam. Just my observation. Sure, killing non-believers was the Christian stance in the middle ages, but Islam has kept this practice into the 21st century. (this is where you say the war in Iraq is a crusade) I'm sure their are loads of kind loving luke warm Muslims. And the cooky fundamentalists are at the core of the argument, but there's millions of them. Not some tiny fringe group that many try to parallel with Mcveigh or some anti-abortion crazies. The numbers are not interchangeable. That are major infrastructures teaching hate in the middle east. What did Christianity invent?Probably everything the western world has produced. There has been a separation of church and state for hundreds of years. Inventions and such have been individual accomplishments in the west and personal beliefs have often been left at home. The jews can take credit for many inventions, but they don't meld their religious beliefs into their accomplishments like the Muslims.
