OKay, so whenever they drink milk and get sick they think to themselves "ugh, wtf, why did this milk make me sick?" and they never figure out they are lactose intolerant so they keep drinking it?

that would imply that lactose-intolerant people are also stupid, which I don't really believe, so... HA-HA!

Who says they feel it immediately? Lots of people have lots of illnesses which go undetected.
btw I don't think there is anything wrong with animal welfare - if you see some of the disgusting conditions that animals are kept in prior to being slaughtered for our consumption. Now, this doesn't mean that I'm a rabid Animal Welfare extremist, since I'm not a member of PETA, or even a follower of theres whatsoever.

"some stupid comments like "animals welfare has to be our #1 priority, above all else" (what about humans?!"
You have to understand that everybody don't share the same view of the world.
I mean earlier black and white people didn't have the same rights, and were judged because of what they were born to (black or white). Some people understood that was wrong and wanted to stop the discrimination - but other people thought it was right (because they didn't believe people are equal).
In nature we are all born in to something, but since culture is created by man we can and should make sure everybody has the same rights - nomatter what you're born into.
I don't know much about PETA but I know that many vegans feel that animals should have the same rights as humans - which is not different from thinking that black people should have the same rights as white people. It's just an extended view, like all life is equal (not just all human life), and one type of life isn't superior (or atleast as superior that other "lower" races or lifeforms deserve to be treated like they are today)...
I hope you don't take me wrong, and I am quite sure you already know this...
shit I gotto go to school.. no more time to write! but I was done anyway...

How do you know lots of people have undetected illnesses if they are undetected? Your argument begs the question my friend.

Because they are finally detected... so extending that indicates that many people still have undetected illnesses.

I'd be careful believing anything from people who compare chickens in a coop to the holocaust.
