i dont know. I went downstairs this morning and my housemate andy had big brother on e4. I smiled as if nothing was wrong, walked calmly into the kitchen, then at the last second i belted back into the lounge, pushed the tv onto the floor, stamped on it, picked it up, threw it at andys head shouting "BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD", then i kicked him out the house into the street where he was hit by a passing vw beetle with a huge can of redbull on its roof (i think it was some kind of official redbull wagon). He rolled over the bonnet nicely enough, but he got caught on the ringpull of the giant beverage and it tore his arm pretty bad. I have no regrets. |

I haven't seen Big Brother at all so far.. I hope not to. I've heard that, after being accused of picking the most boring people alive last year, the producers have gone out of their way to select the most obnoxious examples of humanity. If they REALLY wanted to engineer a controversial, ratings-winning TV programme, the answer is simple: Fill the house with people of diametrically oppossed fundamentalist beliefs. Simple. Or (and this is my personal favourite), save yourself all the time and effort of auditionning pitiful, talentless egomaniacs & simply set up a load of cameras in some kind of mental institution. It would offend a few people at first, but I garuantee that it would be the highest rated series of BigBrother to date. Imagine how entertaining the mentally ill could be. Certainly more so than a group of strutting peacocks with so-called charisma and 'issues'. I can't think of anything worse than a bunch of self-concious navelgazers. At least the mentally ill wouldn't even know they were on TV. Not only that, but we could have a phone/text vote every week to see which one the public want released into the community. Now that's entertainment.. |
