So last night, after the pistons game. I'm well drunk and come home with my buddy. I offer some shrooms to him (hes never done them). But only enough to get a decent body buzz and some pretty lights, no full on tripping or anything. Well evidently I ate too much, and was having a great time. Just slight visuals, and perrrty colors. Well my friend left like 1am-ish. I go upstairs to sleep and start peaking while I'm looking out my window and trying to sleep. I literally watch the clock ticket away minutes for about 25minutes. Come back downstairs on the computer. Back and forth I went. Started tripping Really bad. Alone, at night, unexpectedly :( |

came back down to computer, big ups for ROYGBIV and a few other ppl for talking to me on aim cause i was going insane. Wasn't EXPECTING to trip and man did that fuck me up bad. Again, Yeah....be careful :) |

Uhh, no throwing them up after yer peaking is VERY bad and you only shroom harder. Trust me on this. Sometimes I throw up if I eat too much and when I do, oh man. It's all over............... Fuck, lats night was HELL. I'm never doing them again, I couldn't beleive the hell I put myself through. Jeezous, done. |

id have to disagree...i definately calmed down after puking...the relaxation out of it....haha...i remember looking at the sink, nothing but one small mushroom in all this watery liquid...bad times. |

GIR, then you probably had not fully digested it yet....that would explain it. Yeah not really vp. I have a REAL big problem when im shroomin that I think way too much. My brain can't idle. Then, I get all stressed out from all the thinking and start going crazy. Just try to focus on one thing to calm me down. And again, I was forced to WAIT IT OUT so i could go to bed. Worst thing ever. Waiting for it to stop. :( Can't beleive the hell I went through. Fuck, Ive never been more mad at myself. |

doesn't this work as with a trip on weed - sugarwater or orange juice (vitamin C) can lessen or even halt the bad trip? |

that sucks man.. the feeling when youre having a bad trip. i just hate it! the last 2 or 3 shroom trips ive been on have been bad ones. im scared to do them now i think. it sucks. i used to love the stuff.. so much fun back in the day. now i thikn i will have to mostly stick to lsd when i want to trip, because that seems to agree with my brain and a lot more these days. :-/ |

O man, once I had a bad trip from shrooms, now I know why they call it a "bad trip", it was hell on earth, even my best friends turned into demons, my lovely neighbour turned into a witch with hoofs instead of feet, real horror, it took almost a year to understand it was just a trip. I've eaten them twice again after that just to have a nice feeling about trippin, that worked out fine for me, some funnie nice trips, but still strange, too strange to do it very often so I decided not to do it again and stick to the weed, wich is not to compare |

usually RHUBARB calms out out when I shroom trip. It feels moist and refreshing and it usually saves me. Nope, not this time. Just made things worse (creeks, etc weird sounds) Then I listend to modena over and over and that was TERRIBLE. |

one thing that may have had to do with your bad trip would be that you were drinking, from what ive been told booze and mushies are a no-no. or at least it can end in a seizure, i know that much. |

The last really dodgy trip i had, i felt like i'd turned into an insect, a la kafka's metamorphosis. It was horrible, my hands wouldn't move right, and every time i spoke it seemed to come out with a screechy, insectile undertone. |

They're nice if you don't have too much. I had a really bad experience when i didn't know anything about dosage though, the room i was in turned into satan's hot, moist stomach. |

how...ive never had full on hallucinations like that...the worst i had was when all the colors were so intense they made me horribly sick...and when I tried to close my eyes, Clive Barker esque images popped in my head (some naked white pinhead guy vomiting blood on worms with extremely amplified sound) |

ooh dear, not nice :( i've never had a bad trip, thank dog. i was with a friend when he went absolutely insane tho'. took too many (despite being warned....tuttut stoopid macho pride thing). it was odd, because usually in my experience people just come unstuck inside their head, and there aren't many physical symptoms. first he started mumbing about not liking it too much. i tried to calm him down, reality checking him etc, but he wasn't having any of it - he'd already thought himself into the early stages of a bad trip. then he started spasm-ing (is that a word?), his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he went a shade of pond-green. not nice. had it gone on for much longer i would have called an ambulance, it was that bad :( in the end i managed to get him inside and under a blanket where i spent about 2 hours reality checking him and talking about the beatles (his fav. band). it was pretty odd, as i was tripping off my tits hard throughout the whole thing :p not nice. drugs are bad....mmkay... |

I can't beleive how many ppl i've talked to, that have shroomed quite a bit, that never go into a full blown "trip". Quite amazing. Quite painful. It's kinda funny, cause when I'm coming up I'll get real talk-a-tive. But when I'm peaking and I just can't move and can't stop yawning (shroom yawns are the WORST, feels like when I yawn like a 2nd being is taking over my body and engulfing me) and when i'm shroomin really hard I can never talk. I'll try talkin and midway thru a sentence ill just be like "gah, i can't get my point across, or explain what im trying to explain right" so ill just stop because it feels pointless to talk and then ppl are just like, wtf. |
