venetian snares

i dont think hes innovative at all, but that doesnt mean i
cant enjoy mindless beats now and then...do you all only
listen to what the next messiah is and nothing else? because
that creates a VERY limited perspective on music.

i LOVE venetian snares, its perfect for when im in that
mood. some of his albums encompass total raw anger and
rage, fear and sadness. then theres the chocolate
wheelchair album, the most funkiest album on the planet!

Of course not, but obviously people pay more attention to
his releases as his music is exciting and interesting. I
disagree about the innovation thing... I find all sorts of
innovation in his work. Perhaps not technologically - he
uses a shitty tracker still - but in his approach to
composition and programming really. And lets not forget the
samples, I think the snippets of speech ect work so well
with his music, moreso than the majority of artists.

i like his music. basically because its the type of music i
wish i could make but lack the skills to produce them. And
before anyone says get fruity loops and set everything to
random FUCK YOU, it may sound chaotic, but its definatley
structured.

I like him. I can't stand the over-the-top drill madness
tracks, but when he settles down he can really put on the
style and come up with some precious sounds. Fucking sick of
having to ''warm up to'' a new Snares album every 60 days,
though.

I love Vsnares, it may sound random to you but I can feel
the effort in every little noise. It's precision. Nothing
gets to me as quickly as Vsnares, its the music equivalent
of getting drunk by injecting whisky into your heart.

opinions, but no one can deny that this guy has an
incredible creative gift. God bless you Snares. God bless
you.

anyone heard his latest release "moonglow"...
it featured e.g. the edward scissorhands-soundtrack.
very mellow (though fast drums), and quite uplifting stuff.

I've ordered moonglow four months ago at my local record
store still no arrival, they really suck on getting a hold
on my orders, I decided to order online in the future, the
problem is there are not so many online stores that I know
in the uk or eu who distribute everything from addictrecords

oh yeah ok.
sector-1 (recordshop) added it to their catalogue on may
20th so I figured it was the latest...
heh
but yeah that track where he samples the ES-soundtrack
("This little earth"), I like it... though I've only heard 2
minutes of it.
moonglow is jazzy and I don't like it as much.

Soundmurderer - Wired for Sound (this ol' skool jungle comp.
puts a smile on my face)
Hall and Oates - Maneater (no description necessary)
