lets consider Aphex :

( forgetting if i like him or not ) i founded many things in
aphex i dont really like, the beats, melodies, sounds, etc,
but still , somehow, his tracks have "something" that allows
me to listen to them

the same with other artists.

so, what makes good track, besides rhythm, melodies,
concept, and all ?
is it just the sounds, combination of above things, or
something untouchable ?

why track A is not so good like track B ?

what do you think ?

a combination of those above mixed with the mood your in, i
think the way a track is mixed and the overall "sound" of it
is important too, if a track is mixed in way that it's a
comfortable listen, it's likely that a person can listen to
it allot without getting annoyed, sometimes i can even
forget that i listen to a track if it's boring and mixed
very flat and so on.

a track is like a woman (or a man in the case)

maybe she hasnt got beautiful eyes, nor a good nose, nor a
beautiful mouth... but still she is beautiful all in all

maybe a woman with beautiful eyes is still ugly

endless replayability, without the track getting one bit
less mindblowing as the first time you hear it. in other
words, impossible unless you could erase your own memory.

the parts

yeah, thats one point, but very often the track is perfectly
mixed, youre happy and the track fit's your mood, the sounds
fits great to overall look of the track, and all, but still
you cant dig the thing.
what is the word to name the..."vibe" ?

ok, show me the tracks that you CANT dig, no matter who is
the artist, and how much you like his works :
