I recorded one of my old guitar-based songs today, as I
promised to telica last night ... it is called "love" but
don't be put off by the title. enjoy my dodgy singing and
dodgy strumming! :D I did my best with the tools provided
;)

CLICK ME AND LOVE!

over and out.

I listened.. it sounds like an old guitar song. I don't
listen too much to old guitar songs, but it was nice.

Thanks, D.M. - did I tell you that I introduced your 80s
style hiphop song to my younger brother, who loved it?

i'd never have the balls to record me singing. i'm not bad,
but i get v. selfconscious.

paul, it's a nice little song once it gets going. i
preferred chemical plains tho'....

I played that chemical plains song at a wedding once - it
was horrible, and I'll never do it again.

Sappy! But I like it, there needs to be more guitar based
songs making the rounds here. I love the folky jingle
jangle, and your voice is distinctive. I wouldn't think you
were from Antarctica by listening to this.

Wee. Thanks for listening, Jay, I'll record more of my old
songs, so be sure to keep an eye out for them ;)

Listened to your song, taffmonster -- you are certainly
better on the guitar than I am ;) I liked the melody also,
couldn't make out all of the words, but with lo-fi
recordings can we ever? :S

btw, my old flat-mate was called Taff, and he played drums
shit-hotly!

That was a nice song paul, it was quite stark and i was
quite taken aback by the lyrics, they sounded very honest.

Well done : )

cheers skinko -- my poetry and lyrics have always been
pretty open and honest ... I had to EQ this to get rid of
the hiss, so it sounds quite thin -- but, better than
sounding too hissy, I guess.

Sometimes the hiss can be quite charming and something to it
but most of the time it is a pain in the ass.

Ha, yes.

This is very nice, someone should bump this.

I think I still prefer Chemical Plains, though, but
oh well.

everyone's right... chemical plains is better, and the
EQ/recording is not so nice, but a good song all the same.
