so, i'm taking part in a electronic music competition. you
got a few samples and you have to do the best out of them.
i made one song, and i would want to lsiten some opinions
before i send it...
it's a beta-version, but it's already what i thought about.

er5u

oh - and if somebody wants to join the comp - it's only for
polish people :(

The problem is that it's prohibited to d/l mp3 here - in
spoken form:( total shite. I hate it.

i like it ..... break it up a bit though. There's a nice
break 30 secs or so before the end that'd be could
sprinkled elsewhere and expanded upon

The audio quaity is a bit muggy. I don't know how you make
music but it sounds as though you have forced a tracker to
make Chris Clark sounding music.

If you could clean up the crunch and make it a bit more
dynamic and defined you would be onto a winner.

yeah, i want to do that anyway - as i told, it's a
beta-version...

ecnadiarb - forced the tracker ? :D not really, but i
realised what you mean. actually all the samples i got are
very dark and moody, and don't have many high frequencies. i
have to master this song better so it gets more high
tones...

Love the track. It's very good. I would recommend that you
set it off a little quicker though, as the intro may be a
little too long (I'm only talking a couple of seconds tho
from 0:00 to 0:25 as oppose to 0:00 to 0:32). The repeated
scratching sound might wanna be variated in the intro as
well. It's also quite fizzy in places so you may need to
sort that out. Just some little helpful comments. Don't let
them put it down as it's a great track, just needs some
improvements.

yeah you are right with all you say. but with the begigging
- there's a small problem. it's made with the granulizer, a
vst which is kinda difficult to control... so it can be -
that if i try to change the intro i fuck it all up... :(

dont change it then, just add another pattern that fits in
with it to variate it. If you're talking about the fizzing
then use the Paramatic EQ to cancel some of those higher
frequencies.
