Wrexsoul - Accelerating to the Sun EP
1. Wake up 2. The river at the edge of the Universe 3. Stupid intergral equation 4. Sunlight filter 5. Conciliator 6. 2015: Cosalstsoywc (v8)
Well then, I'm pretty happy with the majority of this, and I'd love to get some feedback on the whole shebang (negative, positive or goose). There's also 192kb/s versions being shared in my soulseek folder if the 128-ness offends your ears. Muchos thankos to Earvalve for hosting this for me, and uh, let me know what you think folks.

Checking now.. the first track sounds really professional, but I'm missing a defining melody or instrument. It's more ambient-ambient music... I'll check the rest and give you a running feedback-loop on them.

I like the second track much more! The drums and the voices match the melody nicely, but you could have skipped the pizzicato. You should've used some other instrument...

integral of equation -> area under curve of equation.
for example, the area under curve of y=x² on a certain interval can be calculated using the integral of x², (1/3)x³
.
i prolly messed up, the best i could do

hmm.. I still don't get it.. (probably the reason why I'm studying philosophy instead of science).
track 4: Nice, but it sort of faded out of my attention after a while. You should do a huge, strong break with ravenous (I like that word, and now I got to use it) beats!

#5: I like the thing that comes in at about 1:40, it makes the song stand out from itself.
#6: My immediate thoughts were: damn! that's one of those drums with a pitched voice on.. 90s tekkkkkkkno. That put me off, but later, the song evolved into a beautiful flower with nice melodies that change and alternate throughout the track. Nice
Altogether, this was a nice EP, and I would definately buy it if it came out in shops (but for now, mp3cd will have to suffice)...

Thanks for the comments man (especially the closing one :D)
There was actually a huge monsta-monsta breakbeat solo in track4, but it didn't seem to gel properly so I took it out. Artistic decision, I say.

I think you should try putting it back in.. or make a new one, 'cause the track wasn't bad, but it faded, in a way...

As I've told you elsewhere, quite nift0r work. All you humans out there must hear it or suffer the consequences. (the consequences mainly consist of not hearing some good music)

Ah all good stuff. I was listening in the car before and I enjoyed every track. Possibly some of it isn't designed for active listening...but that's not a bad thing at all. :D

it sounds totally professional, maybe ever too much imo, so fat and broad (stereo), but that might be just the style, and my opinion merely
what do you make your music with?

I used Buzz Tracker exclusivly for this. And yes, you're probably right about it being over-mastered :) I'm still practising the zen art of good mastering and I'm probably into the stage of using too much limiter. Still, at least it doesn't sound like dirt when I play it on different systems which is a good start. Thanks for the positive commentation incidently, it makes my head swell and makes me want to keep on writing more stuff.

very good stuff! i really liked Orust Cottage on Xltronic Vibes 9 and i was really wanting more after 'wake up'. It all sounds very completed, proffesional. Nice beats, nicely constructed.
recommended to the rest!
