today I took a 45 second sample of glory (I'll keep the track to myself, ye voyeurs), and printed it out using high quality methods onto a long strip of vinyl as a series of the digits 0-7 (sorry I like octal). Having designed a system to read this data back at a high rate and attempt to get a modicum of sound playback, I must say: vinyl sucks. you are all fired. |
