Sometimes I choose [a] because it is the first one, and I don't think about it, and just hit [a]. Sometimes I choose [a] because it is closest to the left side of the paper. Other times [a] might be closest to the bottom of the paper, like on a scantron, where I would have it turned sideways because the boxes are rectangular in shape, and it is easier to make vertical strokes with the pencil than horizontal ones. Sometimes I have chosen too many [a]'s so I choose [b]. Maybe I won't like [b] at that particular moment because it is less pleasing to the eye than [a] so I will choose [a]. Sometimes I go back and change [b] to [a]. Sometimes I change [a] to [b]. |
