if the cover involves any mention of a nipple, be it in text
or image or otherwise, I will never speak to you again.

if you are actually interested in reading an idm magazine...
grooves is probably your best bet... in the three issues i
have received, they've reviewed just about anything anyone
has talked about here in the last year and then some...

you're probably right about that, actually... which is
really odd because europe is supposed to have the upperhand
in electronic music over north america in every way... how
did this happen?!?!

Grooves is probably the mag. bunch of former old IDM listers
running that thing.

i'm the old and current idm lister who runs grooves. you
kids overseas might not know us, as we have limited distro
in europe and u.k. (so bug your favorite shop to carry us!)

we're working on our next issue, coming out at beginning of
july, with stuff on pan sonic, to rococo rot, two lone
swordsmen, black dice, daedelus, plus a ton of more stuff.

thanks to those above who name-checked us!

occasionally get a few decent idm articles

but its more Beats Per Minute, kinda stuff, still a good rag

grooves is the only one you need. sean puts out a top notch
mag with great reviews on releases, software, artist
interviews, events etc.

only problem is that it takes to long inbetween each issue.
i wish it came out more often.

How would I be able to reqest maybe some way that the mags
could be introduced to Louisville, Kentucky, USA?

Portland, thanks for kind words. we are publishing a fourth
time this year; in the past, we've only done 3x yearly. i
have a day job and two young children, so unless some big
advertising money rolls in, quarterly is where we're at.

phystphukt--what are the good stores in louisville (if any)?
go bug them to stock the good mags. barnes&noble and borders
should have some of them.

hey Sean,

we get your mag out here in crazy places (central/southern
California) but it really is a strange place to be picking
this mag up cause i live in a country music town. the local
shops even have it (stores that are not even chain like
Borders and B&N, thought they have it to). how could you be
limited to distro in Europe and UK only if i'm getting it
locally?
