Nicorette Gum and The Patch

I would like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has used
Nicorette or the patch to quit smoking.
I would like to hear from those who used one and didnt quit
smoking too.
I smoke a pack a day and I hate it. Im ready to actively
participate in the salvation of my health.

yes i used nicorette gum for some time

it works. i recommend the citrus flavour, and 4mg for a pack
a day smoker (which i used to be)

jsut be aware that you need to chew it slowly or youll be
hiccups, maybe even a stomach ache

You should use the flagellation method.

i tried the gum and it wasn;t too pleasant after a while.
the citrus flavour probably tastes better.
i still smoke though..

Its better to be addicted to the gum than cigarettes I
reckon.

I'm thinking of going on the patch and then using nicorette
to further supress my cravings.

use the patch stick with it, if you have a "craving" find
some way to aviod it, ive heard the gum doesnt really work

ive had several friends who used the patch and it works,
kind of expensive, like $45/month for 3 months, but not
smoking and being healthier are a better choice

p.s. ive NEVER smoked anything

good luck brokenphones

it sure was :)

i cant comment on the patch .. never tried it cause i have
problem skin. the 4mg gum tho is honestly so stong .. Much
stronger than ordinary cigarettes.

best of luck!

i've given up giving up. i'm only a light smoker so it
doesn't really bother me too much, i guess i'll give up
eventually. most people need several attempts before they
manage to quit so don't worry too much if you don't manage
it this time around.

$45/month would mean I'm SAVING money.
Canada taxes their cigarettes hardcore. $10 a pack.

Pack a day for a week = $70

I think you meant $45 american dollars. That would be $62.34
canadian. So I'm still saving money :)

I live near the flower pot rocks but otherwise New Brunswick
is fairly boring.

Oh, and there's this awesome natural optical illusion that I
live close to. Its called Magnetic Hill. If you stop your
car on it, it starts rolling UPHILL! (But you're going down,
but it looks like you are going up. Fucking creepy)

Heres some pics.
