i'm listening to it right now and it's awesome... it seems to me like there is always some element playing of some song that i know, and some element completely different... when they will play like this in warsaw i'll die !! |

i was at coachella this year, and if this set is supposedly from this one, either you are being lied to (most likely) or they played some secret show and i very much missed out. (unlikely) it could be someone else mislabelled. |

It's coachella 99 the one that is commonly available, and it sounds as though they are playing live...the whole flavour is a lot more dancy than there CD work but containing elements of existing tracks. It is good stuff. |

perhaps what you are hearing that sounds familiar is a track (or two) from Iss sa by gescom? i heard that Coachella 99 was where some of that stuff was sort of debuted... |

i was at this show (the 1st Coachella, and the only one they played) and it was billed as a DJ set, but basically it was two laptops, a mixer, some pro CD players and maybe a minidisc deal or two. you can decide what you think it was from that, as some of us are still not sure. they played most of Peel Session 2 at this show before it was released and most of ISS:SA, also before the release. the exploitation of this set probably had some factor in the selection of tracks for those two releases. |

coachella must rock.. i also have a live video from squarepusher live at coachella, drinking plain vodka from the bottle while totally tweaking it up. awesome stuff. |
