'out from out where' comes in first

then 'supermodified'

i'd say vice versa, Supermodified first :)

but yeah, those two are his best

'Out from out where' IS the best

Fact.

I have supermodified and it just bores me. It's my only
Tobin CD.

I actually find his jazzy stuff kind of dusty and boring
too. 'Out from out where' is different though, much fresher,
cleaner and more dynamic.

"It's my only Tobin CD."

that's why it bores you! :D

I have listened to Permutation and Supermodified. Didn't
like both.

I'd start with supermodified or permutation

Out from out nowhere is great! soft laid-back, chill-IDM.
Spacey.

amon is alright...i don't have a favourite album...i like
some tracks from every of his albums. nice to see morton
improving his taste in music though :)

OFOW is definitely his weakest!

Supermodified, Bricolage and Permutation is where it's at

I recommend these to everyone.

Supermodified is a very tight, cohesive release. I liked the
overall flow from track to track.

Favorite Amon track - 4 Ton Mantis

The best is OUT FROM OUT WHERE cause it is so spacey, so
dark... wonderful. I have his 4 albums and none is weak, i
love the four. After OFOW it's difficult but i think
Permutation than Supermodified then Bricolage. BUT don't buy
Verbal remixes, it's crap.

The track with Kid Koala is fantastic though.

Yes and the "Escalade mix" by Prefuse73 is nice too. But the
rest is shit.

if you are comparing it to the tracks of supermodifed you've
heard from me, i guess you'll like supermodified more.

the collab ep is Excellent if youre in to crazy glitch hop
beats...changed my look on that type ov music.

as for best album...permutation, hands down...nothing beats
Bridge, Nightlife, Toys, etc...perfect album...in fact, i
need to listen to this one more often.

it's not soft at all, at least to me. Still like
supermodified the most.

And daan, they're all 12,99 at bol.com.

I don't think we can consider Amon Tobin "soft" anymore
after Out from Out Where.
