I don't like these slightly disorderly yet still organized
competitions that are springing up, so I'd like some nice
mud-slinging crap-flooding bidding.

Tell me: will orbital's next album suck?

I foresee one decent track, one slightly worse track, and a
pile of crap. so all in all I put $10 on it sucking.

this great post is actually a convoluted scheme to sap all
cheer from this bored. If it doesn't work, my next crap
topic will--live in fear.

Odds of a good new Orbital release are 1 to 100. Place your
bets gentlemen. (I accept Paypal, cash, or check).

well, certainly most people agree they went downhill in
recent albums, and even if you don't agree with that the
fact that they are doing all sorts of weird collaborations
for the blue album and then promptly are quitting makes it
sound like a sickly dying last breath twitch to me.

I'm talking about the blue album, due out june 21st or
something like that

21st june. its difficult to pigeon hole the sound of the
album so i'm not going to try. the track with sparks is
called acid pants and its a mad acid techno with an orbital
imprint, not quite what you'd expect. i think the album may
surprise some people. i realy dont like their last 2 albums
after loving the first 4, but this is great.

i think so. it definately has a 90s feel to it but in a good
way. there's also another track which theyve sampled
the second coming with christopher ecclestone turns out to be
the son of god which annoyingly i missed. hopefully itv will
re-run it

the idm competition is not a new thing...this is the third
year we do it.

normally its done in march, but this year we couldnt do it
before than now.

the other championship, the one marlowe is managing is a
great idea
