i had to take my iBook in for repairs, and i've only just
got it back.

i have missed the net, and i have missed it here.

nope, the iBook is nearly a year old mate :)

i'm getting a PowerBook, which should hopefully be here
tomorrow - it should have been here today really (well, the
woman said it'd usually take 6 days after notification of
shipment...and 6 days was up today!)

my girlfriend is having it - she needs a machine for
college, because she has to put up with buggy PC's at the
campus, and she's been wanting a machine that's capable of
running Reason and other stuff well

Hello again , i bet you cant wait till you get your hands on

My friend bought a 1ghz i mac from the refurb shop at
apple.com it got deliverd 2 days ago but we had to send it
back because the screen would not power up at all...... guff
.... you can imagine the disapointment .

i'm having speed problems rewiring stuff, and i've wanted a
PB17 for ages now, so i took the plunge

and anyways, the iBook would never run DOOM3, whereas the
PB17 will have a damn good chance of running it

that's a shame, because from the website they look like very
decent machines

i couldn't believe it when i saw that the graphics cards in

The upgradable graphics cards are available in new systems
only. It just so happens that those systems were announced a
