Now that "everybody" have heard this album, I feel for
starting a new topic about it. I bet this album would be on
top of my 2004-list. It is absolutely brilliant IMO. When CF
decided to tone down the glitch a bit, it couldn't have been
done better. All of the tracks are so fekkin great, and I'm
surprised how good the vocal track with David Sylviain
worked. Absolutely stunning. I hope, however, that CF can do
something more extreme like Hotel Paral.lel again, and that
he don't end up like a light version of himself.
Highly recommended light-glitch-summer-ambient. Listen to it
in the park, on the beach or wherever.
What do YOU think?

I think this is the third Fennesz I've heard. I like this
album a lot. Circassian and The Point of it All are very
good.

I'm listening to it right now.

Yeah I've heard many good things 'bout this one.

Looking to invest in a Fennesz release - which should I get?
I am a fan of the glitch, but more a fan of just generally
beautiful music. Is Venice superior to earlier releases, in
your highly esteemed opinions, or just more accessible?
(Accessibility does not concern me, I am an Ae fan after
all)

Don't have mp3 downloading facilities at the moment I'm
afraid.

Venice is more accessible and very good. But if you want
some of the more rough stuff, you should check out Hotel
Paral.lel, I think. It's still my favourite.

"your highly esteemed opinions"
What does that mean?

Thanks for the advice, morts.

"your highly esteemed opinions"
What does that mean?

It means I hold the musical opinions of (most) xlt posters
in high estimation. 'nuff respect.
