yeah I put off seeing this for the longest time, but I finally got around to it, and
oh my fucking god
I have to say it is the most awe inspring thing I've ever seen, it manages to convey it's message without any thought of making it understandable in relation to the real world and it's properties, it just throws you in and tells the story and lets you figure out the rest, which can be a giant put off for 90% of everyone who just wants to sit down and watch something and be entertained, but if you're prepared to sit down, and take it all in, and put in a bit of thought, its a complete work of art, if you're into dark twisted deep stuff, you should buy the box set NOW (it's fairly cheap, (as far as box sets go) $90 for all four dvd's)
I cannot stress just how good this is.
Matt. Refund.

this show is really incredible. i am not into anime in general, but this is one of the few exceptions. it's a dark and surreal show - kind of like an anime version of a david lynch film. i highly recommend it.
i have a two-dvd set of all 13 episodes i got from amazon for around 25 bucks.

yeah when i got all the berserks, the 6th dvd didnt work, so i sent it in and got it replaced (twice!) and still not working.
turns out that the berserk dvds werent properly calibrated to work on most dvd players, tho if you have a dvd drive in your computer, it will work just fine :)
amazing anime too

I downloaded part 1 to 13 for $0
How many are there in total? I still need to see them all in the proper order, but I'm so impatient :(

I'm on dial-up - I'd probably be in my thirties by the time I downloaded all of them.
I think that's all there is in total right?

yes, there's 13 in total,
and berserk does kick arse, but you have to watch all of it, as it starts off kinda average but quickly gets amazingly good

heh...I'm on a 2560 Kbit/s cable connection and it still took me several days to find and download all parts. They're about 50 MB each, full screen image quality suffices.

I love it!
eXXalion: 50mb? that's low.. download DC++. It's easy to find it there, and easily in files that are over 200mb!

hmmm....I just checked the files again and I was wrong. All 13 parts are 1.63 GB in total, so that makes the average size about 125 MB instead of 50 MB. The quality is damn well acceptable full screen, so I think I'll just keep the files I already have, thanks anyway :)

ok. But still.. DC++ is great for finding animé! You should check things like Infinite Ryvius, Record of lodoss war, Love Hina, Chobits, Final Fantasy unlimited (if you can get past the cheesy 3d-effects in certain places, it's good), and soooo many more!

OK, just downloaded DC++, will check it out in the near future. Nothing wrong with some quality anime methinks :)

quality animé will always help your day!
(btw: DC is one of those newbie-unfriendly programs (many of the hubs have minimum-shares of, like 5gb), but all you have to do is put a dvd in your dvd-rom and share it (4-7gb instantly shared), and then masquerade it by sharing lots of mp3s while hoping they don't notice (you should probably share any animés and fils you have as well..). They get easily annoyed, and sharing partial files (create a folder called "unfinished" where you put the files.. don't put them directly in the main share-folder...), installed programs, and things they don't understand is frowned upon.. once you get past these traps, you're ok...)

I'm currently sharing about 20 GB worth of MP3s and videos. Should be OK. What slightly bugs me is the fact that my firewall always gets in the way of these programs. Readme said that passive <--> passive is impossible :\
