hmmm.. yep, i really liked this movie. Kaufman does it
again with his 3rd brain-twister dare-i-say phillip k. dick
style story.

If only Carrey and Winslet had a bit more chemistry on
screen though. Nice acting and stuff but they never felt
like a couple to me.

An how about Kirsten Dunst prancing around on the bed in
those knickers. Wowsers trousers!

This thread is okay because it says "Wowsers trousers".

bumpbump.

beautiful film, really captured well all those fragments and
stupid little moments that make up a relationship. but yeah
the chemistry could've been better.

but gondry's cinematography: mindblowing. so many subtle
details, eg. the way the signs on that street shot are
erased one by one in the background. must've taken him
fucking ages to edit it.

You'll be pleasantly surprised by his performance, I think.

i've heard that from quite a few americans.. people i
trust, so i'm willing to suspend my distaste for his acting.
hell, adam sandler did a good job in punch drunk love,
maybe jimmy can pull one off too.

although it wasn't horrible, i wasn't all that impressed
with his job in the truman show. imo, he still came off as
a goofball trying to act serious.

i think both his and Winselts acting/characters are ok but
they just aren't couple material.

"maybe thats the point" say you

maybe. But i don't think so.... some sort of believable
relationship destined to fail may have been better.

Having said that.... everything else was GREAT. pace, style,
script, cinematograhy, narative, drama, etc

I liked this movie, it was very orgininal and both Kate and
Jim did really well in it... I personally liked it.

I did see Van Helsing, and that movie was also really good.

the Punisher sucked balls

:D and im done!
