Download my first mp3's here and give me your

They're actually about 3 years old but i was only able to
upload them yesterday! I'm silly like that, silly!

Orbiting uranus: kind of.. raw.. there is no real connection
between the different themes. In this case, I'm sorry, but
it wasn't too good...

Final Phase: too long.. would have been good if it had been
over at 2 mins, about.. you could have done the progression
in shorter time.

Race On has potential if you were to revise it a bit. The
ending is good and the really dark bass synth that's used in
places is great. Have you seen this?

Final Phase: I don't like the hard panning at the start too
much, but the overall groove particularly the way the beat
and bass work together is nice- almost impossible not to nod
your head to :) That banjoey type synth that comes in the
middle makes me think it's going to burst into "Cotton Eyed
Joe" :D I agree with Drunken, it could be a bit shorter, get
the progression to happen quicker, but that's only from a
listening at home POV. I reckon this'd be good in a club
type situation. As you say, "somfink ta dance ta".

Orbiting Uranus: I'm not a fan of most hardcore/snaresy type
things, so I probably wouldn't like this one anyway, but the
main constructive criticism I would give it is that some of
the synths (organ and the tech-house type one that comes in
afterwards) sound to "soft" and light-hearted for a track
like this, the bass and drums is quite dark and moody and
the synths detract from that.

Overall, certainly not bad for your first tracks! Are you
still making music?

Obviously, Drunken Mastah's opinion doesn't count in this
case! :)

Orbiting Uranus: Tis raw alright but thats the way i likes
it

Race-on: Techno? My defn. of techno must be different. Its
more jungle innit?

Yes, Race-on is more jungle than techno :)

Cheers Ceri. My current PC isn't up to tune-making anymore
so i'm saving for a new one. I'll check that thread later
after i've had a few coffees!
