saw A Mighty Wind at the cinema tonight. I love this film so much. I couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to see it on the big screen. Anyway: Is there is thatrical cut of this or difference in country versions? I wastched it at my mates in Perth and the version I saw tonight was different to that. couple of bits added and a couple missing. GAH! |

might you have seen a pirated version at your mates by any chance? if so, was it a DVD rip? if so, then it was probably a rip from a promo copy, sent out to the press or something - sometimes they differ from the theatrical versions |

Did you a) watch the movie on drugs bouth times or b) fall asleep at different times of the movie bouth times that might explain the problem. |

i'm reading this book and in it there's a whale named moby dick, and whenever the captain sees him he yells out "thar she blows" so i was thinking it would be great if during one of the songs you yell THAR SHE BLOWS then a great wave of water splashes up on stage and you all say "hey, wha' happen?" and everybody's soaked even the ladies-- |

No alternate versions listed at IMDB, but there obviously are so maybe nobody else has noticed. I haven't seen this yet but I will next time it's on Sky. This crew's flicks always have like four hours of leftover footage so SE DVDs are always in the offing. Best In Show was rather amusing as well. |

Just found out that the scenes I thought were missing are acutally deleted scenes. Jar: I think you'll like it mate. I think it's better than Best in Show and Best in Show cracked me up. |
