Yeah my write up was 16,000 words. As it was a largely graphical project a lot of the explanation was diagrams. I'm not actually demoing the program (written on a PC and I'm using a Mac to give the presentation) tommorow either. Powerpoint all the way... A working midi sequencer back in '93 would be pretty impressive, how come they "only" gave you a 2:2? :-/ |

midi is a nightmare! NEVER attempt to program anything with raw midi data. i didn't implement everything i promised at the beginning. |

I knew from the start that I wasn't a great programmer, so I intentionally "aimed low" when setting my objectives. It worked quite well as it still looks complex and I actually exceeded what I set out to do in many ways. What did you write it in? Pic from my project- my "water", all written from scratch in C++ |

turbo c or borland c, i forget what it was called at the time. the reason i got a 3rd was mainly to do with deciding it would be better to come home to revise for my finals, knowing full well id be shagging my bird at the time rahter than doing any revision. |

yeah I used to buy vinyls when I lived at home with my parents, but since I moved out I don't have access to any decks. Anyway, yeah I might buy one. princo can you put one on reserv? If SoundBase will sell the vinyls - I think I'll buy it from there (since the shipping will be cheaper)... so. answer the questions! |

well i sent the records to bloodyfist on monday, they would of arrived in newcastle either today or yesterday, then mark is gonna send a whole heap of australian stock to those 2 european distros. and that might take another 2 weeks. |

:/ guess not. well it depends really. do you have paypal? coz if you dont and you were to send cash, then when i go to transfer it i'd get an 8$ commision fee for transfering currencies! :( so it'll be easier on me and yourself (from shipping frieght) to buy it from europe. and it'll arrive faster too! |
