i've been listening to a lot of matmos (again) lately and
im loving it...

i still have to get "the west", i think i listened to it but
i wasn't overly impressed...what is your opinion on this
release? should i get it?

as for my favourite matmos...currently it is "a chance to
cut is a chance to cure"...it's brilliant!

i do like the west quite a bit... if you like their
collaboration with woblly and people like us, you will
probably like it ( although it's a lot less country and a
lot more folky...)

The West is my favorite, it's just nuts. Even for Matmos.

I can't see it on the internet yet..? I'm sure it had a
pink 'whoopy cushion' on the front? I'll have another
look... you can't mistake the track... it starts with
fingers rubbing on a balloon, then they chop that up into a
'glitch-house!' beat, then it has a squeeking balloon knot
solo....

hmm, probably a chance to cut is a chance to cure...the
track you're thinking could be "lipostudio"...maybe...

"The west" is wicked, honestly. "The civil war" took a while
to grow on me but i really like it now. I've only heard bits
and bobs from their other stuff.

You should get the full on night split single-thing with
rachels though, i'm sure you'll love it. "The precise
temperature of darkness" is my favourite matmos track by
quite a way.

yes, the west is nice, and the civil war has some excellent
tunes, but i prefer their early music a bit more..i'll look
for that single, thanks!
