Ever had a credit card problem buying things online?

Just wondering how secure it is to buy things, especially
cd's, online and if you've ever had problems because of it.

I ordered Ultravisitor in the beginning of March from Warp.
One day when I came home from school my mom asked me why the
hell I would need 2 spoiler kits for 20.000 krónur (roughly
270$) since I don't own a car.

Now...you would think Warp is a well respected company and
all that but what are the chances that few days after I
ordered that cd some idiot would buy 2 spoiler kits with my
credit card. It could have been a mix up with numbers, it
happens, but I doubt it.

Well the bank fixed the problem yesterday but they didn't
tell me if it was a mix up or not.

Just wondering...

I've been a victim of identity theft. The week before I was
leaving the country someone got my debit card number and
emptied my bank account.

if that happened with warpmart, you may have a lil dataminer
in your compy, or someone may have been watching you at the
right moment. my advice is to get a firewall, run adaware
and make sure connections are always secure when using a
credit card

i've never had a credit card problem, mr. Atli, sir.
but, that's a nice avatar of yours, if i may say so.
is it a painting/digitally created image of some sort,
drawing, etc...?
if so, is it your creation?

Yeah, that was about 3 years ago. I ended up getting all my
money back THE DAY BEFORE I left. And it was amazingly
non-nightmareish to deal with. :\

i don't know...if there were any problems it was small
money, cuz otherwise i'd probably notice...i think it's
pretty safe.

i've got a bad stomach bug (which, coincidentally, also does
its business aggressively) that you may or may not now
have.. but since you presumably are Doctor Awesome, i
figure you can cure yourself, (and possibly me. ..That is,
if your awesomeness applies to your physician skills, and
not just your generally awesome personality/demeanour.)

(this post has way too many parentheses.)

I know, I normally have that problem too.

not only do I normally don't find Achewood funny, I find the
drawings to be quite awful.

I'm not sure about the avatar. It's from a site that DJ
Xammax hosted.

I doubt that this kind of thing will happen again but it
makes you think twice before you order something online.
