by frank zappa is a really good album if you feel annoyed
and bored as well.

like me. haven't listened to it much (which i'd say is its
key) but i don't like his later stuff.

the grand wazoo, waka/jawaka, roxy & elsewhere, hot rats,
just another band from LA, over-nite sensation... these are
my zappa / zappa&mothers favourites..

I'd probably go for "200 motels".

A lot of '80s Zappa albums just go in one ear, out the other
with me. This is not one of them. G-Spot Tornado's a
sweetie. You Are What You Is is the other one I like from
that lame Zappa era.

you are what you is has some mad aphex twin/on type
flickering slideshow video worth checking out. it's also one
of my favourite tracks. but i don't think you'll be beating
who are the brain police? or help i'm a rock in a hurry.
