01 INFO 01a band/artist name - Orange Dust 01b link to your music - (link) 01c members / instrumentation - me/cal/od - makes everything.
02 TECHNICAL 02a what bitrate do you work at - 128kbps standard, 192 if someone asks really nicely.
02b what sample rate do you work at ~ 02c software / hardware used 0 02d do you use dithering & anti-aliasing? I only know these terms being applied to graphics. I'm seriously kind of dumb.
03 OTHER 03a biggest influences - ...... At the moment I sound like Prefuse or something. But i'm mostly into hiphop (def jux)
03b your goal (ie where do you want to take your sound) - I want to eventually be signed without having to suck up or send demos. And i want to have people rap over my tracks.
I feel kind of stupid for not knowing how to answer a few of the questions.... But I guess i'm not really in it for the technical shit.

sound card settings / program settings...
of course, you cant burn it to cd at those settings, it has to be brought down to 16BIT/41,000.
however, actually making the track at 32/92 eliminates loss of sound, you get smoother fade ins/outs and just better sound when its brought down to 16/41

late nights are over. href="http://www.mp3.com.au/gate/">gate has been dormant for almost as long.
when i do return i intend to create music in a mandala-inspired fashion. i no longer get personal satisfaction from creating 'intelligent' music, it seems like a fraud. though i do listen to it :) the meaning and motivation behind creativity for me has been abused and confused for years and i now only want to touch it for the right reasons. there is no hurry !
