i wouldn't have given it a ten... regardless of how well it has held up... it's just not a 10 album... possibly a nine... but Richardson does a good job of writing it up (as always...)

Any album with Rue the Whirl will, in my book, receive a 10.

"The giggling voices of kids that crop up are a sure giveaway, as are the song titles ("Rue the Whirl", "Happy "Cycling"), "
What do they mean by 'Happy Cycling' ??? Am I missing something?

Happy Cycling, last track on the American releases.
God Pitchfork makes me sigh. The Fragile 2.0, okay, maybe. Lateralus - 1.9??
I mean, 5.0, 6.0 for those maybe. BUT a fucking 2?
Oh yeah, cool guy, way to mention that you were in your HONDA 2 times in the space of a couple sentences. Wouldn't it have sufficed to just say car, or did you feel the need to point out your blatant homosexuality?

Considering the impact this album has had, and the fact that it's just so fucking good, I'm glad to see it get a 10 :)
I'm sure even more people will check it out now since I know there are people who get everything pitchfork says is good.

I still don't get the significance of the name "Happy Cycling"
I understand it was the last track on the US release.
