Ok so, my videocard (Radeon 9500) died a few days ago, and when I was dusting the innards, I accidently dropped it at ground level (like it didnt really 'drop' but I was pulling it back upright and my fingers slipped), and it crashed hard... the clear plexiglass side is cracked bad and the screw holes dont line up anymore on the case because I guess the weight of the case dropping (it's huge/heavy) caused it to bend out of shape.... so yeah I no longer have a video card and even if I did, I can't even put my computer back together... at least if that definition includes 'all sides attached and secure' god damnit, and I have 20 dollars to my name. FUCK. |

my hdd is dead because i was lazy and didnt bother to install norton antivirus until AFTER i had a virus and now the program wont install. but hooray i still have my lovely new laptop. sorry bout ur puter dude, you dont have any spare vidcards lying around you could use in the meantime? cuz not having all the sides on is no problem at all. that how i had my comp for like 2 years. |

hehe, yeah when I was in the process of building this comp, I had the cd rom drive hanging out the side, not even in a drive bay for like 2 months =p I've got my old Geforce2 card, but it's basically the same as not having one, because I can't play any games with that card, and if I just wanted my computer for internet, well, then i'd be fine with using this one (my parents).... oh well, looks like i'll just work all summer with no relief in between shifts. =P |

my 40GB disk seem to have died last night...luckly i have all (almost all) mp3's on my 120 GB disk :) on the small one there were just my job files...and a lot of my personaly photos...and hopefully not much more :( |

just as an update for everyone, I have fixed my computer. Everything seems to have worked out in the end. It also taught me how shit boring my life is without my computer. woot. |
