I took my girl to london last night to the rephlex night ,it was her first electronica gig , i didnt think she would be that keen but she loved it , I took some ear plugs for her just in case , good job i did because it was LOUD AS FOOK!!!!! my ears are mashed up today .
Anyway have you listend to any grime stuff on rephlex? i think im going to buy some i enjoyed it alot , oh and the braindance room was banging also ,astrobotnia is the daddy , my mrs thinks he dances like a chicken ?????!!! ha ha .

i thought the grime stuff was dissapointing... nice for about 5 mins, but then i found myself bored of the bass and wanting a breakbeat in there somewhere.... maybe im too used to drum n bass but it just seemed really slow..
highlight were Astrobotnia and D'Archnaglo, both played some very fast acid shit. D'Archnaglo really impressed me, id only heard one track of his previosuly, and in the second half of his set he was playing mashed up techno beats from his laptop which were amazing... easily comparable to squarepusher etc if not better. hope he release this soon

but theres no news on him is there? i mean for this year he's not releasing anything. shame, he ruled last night, really impressive..
was his last album mash up tracks or what?
