thats true, records are by far bulkier and heavier to move than cds, and you probbaly shouldnt leave them near a heater or in the sun pomme de terre---good question, even though i started the thread |

direct drive has very little waver in the speed the platter spins at as it is actually part of the motor. Belt drive wavers and is less stable. |
