my brother just bought it yesterday (yeah, we know the 2nd
episode is going to be released in a few days... but well),
played it last night...

this game is *really* scary.

even more than Silent Hill or Forbidden Siren. i guess it's
a lot to do with the story, too - villages with horrible and
cruel rituals, including eternal suffering without death as
an escape - a classic schema, but it works... (hmm, it was
used in Forbidden Siren too ' _ ' but in Forbidden Siren,
most of the time you feel like they're just soulless
zombies, so it's less horrible...)

and it's just a story, but when you think things like that
have happened in real life (well, without the ghosts
and eternal stuff maybe - at least i hope... how can you be
sure?)... human sacrifices weren't uncommon some time ago,
and it still happens nowadays... ritualized and traditional
or not, it still happens... beyond the horror of the game,
it makes you think human cruelty has no limits. or that the
limits are much too far than they should be.

this game sounds truly interesting, I found all other horror
games a little hard to get into, this one sounds compelling
enough to drag me in though......... :)
